Airport now anticipates welcoming over 1.7 million passengers due to exciting expansion.
Doncaster Sheffield Airport (DSA) and TUI have set their stall out to deliver considerable growth for the airport in 2022. Service expansion announced by TUI looks likely to be the biggest on record at DSA with passenger numbers set to grow to more than 1.7 million, potentially exceeding traffic levels of 2019 by more than 30%.”
The TUI summer 2022 schedule includes two new seasonal destinations, Faro in Portugal and Hurghada in Egypt plus additional capacity of almost 200,000 seats to holiday destinations such as Palma and Malaga (Spain) and Corfu, Crete and Kos (Greece). Next summer at DSA will also see long-haul flights Cancun in Mexico and Melbourne/Orlando in Florida, USA. In total, TUI will operate to 30 destinations the 2022 summer season.
