Showcasing Tangier

Amelie Cado

The 19th Route Development Forum in Tangier gathered over 650 delegates in the city of light to network and meet aviation key players, making it our biggest CONNECT event to date!

A high-level conference programme with 40 industry speakers gathered for 3 days of panel discussions and masterclasses

Airlines, airports and tourism decision-makers came together in Tangier to connect and drive the future of aviation. The programme itself was designed to inform, engage and empower.

In addition, insightful keynote speeches to some of our sector’s biggest names completed a dense agenda: from Ray Kelliher of Ryanair, Manuel Vale at easyJet and Evelin Jeckel of Wizz Air to Bojan Arandjelović at Air Serbia. Once again, we were delighted that the CONNECT Conference Programme was expertly moderated by Patrick Edmond, Managing Director of Altair Advisory.

Another memorable and highly productive event for our partners with that extra special touch that only CONNECT brings

Our event partners know very well that CONNECT deliver excellent value and this year’s was no exception! All our services are tailored to meet individual objectives and to unlock opportunity.

Exhibiting is the best way to push your brand forward during CONNECT. Another way to maximise brand awareness before during and after the event is sponsorship. From a tailored relax and open lounge, to high impact banners in the networking lounges, sponsorship opportunities are endless.

Whether digital or physical, any opportunity can be tailored to meet your objectives, boost your impact and participation.

Two evenings of immersion into Moroccan culture made sure that every delegate got the most out of Tangier

CONNECT is never all work and no play! This year, we were treated to exclusive excursions: sundrenched landscapes; unique scenery and culture; and, above all, a business trip to remember!

The welcome reception took place in one of the most prestigious buildings of Tangier, the Moulay Hafid Palace, offering delegates the chance to experience the local culture: traditional musicians, henna drawings, colourful dishes…The Gala dinner was held on a seafront, in the heart of the city combining local traditions, delicious food and amazing animations. From cocktail hour on the beach to dinner functions and evening galas, we certainly made the most of our time at this wonderful destination.

Discovering the Moroccan treasures gave us unique insights into a vibrant tourism gem

With relaxed and cultural excursions, delegates had the time to discover Tangier and the Moroccan culture before or after the conference.

From a tagine cooking experience to beautiful architecture and landscapes, CONNECT delegates were treated to the visit of Tangier Kasbah, the discovery of Cap Spartel, Hercules Caves as well as the exploration of Chefchaouen the Blue City and Tetouan a UNESCO world heritage site. We’re really proud of our track record of giving delegates much more than other conferences! Our host destinations are experienced close-up and delegates left Tangier this year – hopefully reluctantly wanting to come back soon!
